Why Real Life Is Different | Real Property Training, Business Growth and the Five Freedoms

March 20, 20266 min read

Real Life didn’t start in a classroom. It started in the real world.

Real Life was never built from theory.

It was built from doing deals, raising money, building businesses, and training people every single day in the real world.

By 2017, we had already built a property portfolio fast — over 100 units in 18 months.
Not because we sat around talking about it.
Because we were in it.

That same period also forced my hand.
I exited another business, not fully by choice, but that was the hand I was dealt.

And looking back now, that moment pushed me harder into creating what Real Life was always supposed to become.

Because for years before that, the real success in the businesses I was involved in came down to one thing:
how well we trained and coached people inside the business.

That was unheard of in the corporate world.

We weren’t doing some basic induction, then never training again.
We weren’t waiting for a once-a-year team-building day.

We were training every day.

That’s what built culture.
That’s what built people.
That’s what built performance.

So no, Real Life didn’t come from a textbook.
It came from the reps.

That’s why it hits different.

I realised I didn’t want to train people who had to be there. I wanted to train people who wanted to be there.

One of the biggest moments for me came in 2017 at the Millionaire Mind Intensive in London.

Over 1,000 people had travelled from all over the world.
They were showing up before 9am and staying until 10pm at night.

And I realised something very quickly:

These are my people.

Not because they were perfect.
Not because they knew everything.

But because they wanted to be there.

That was the biggest difference from the corporate world.
In corporate, a lot of people are there because someone told them to be.
They’re ticking boxes.
Waiting for the clock.
Doing just enough.

But in that room?

People were hungry.
Open.
Committed.
Ready to grow.

And I thought to myself:
These are the kind of people I want to train.

That’s when things really shifted.

Because Real Life was never meant to be about dragging people along.
It was about building an environment for people who actually want more — and are willing to do what it takes to become more.

That’s why the room matters.
That’s why the people matter.
That’s why Real Life is not for everyone.

And that’s exactly why it works.

We changed the industry because we were never supposed to fit into it.

We weren’t even supposed to train people in property.

That was never the original plan.

The plan was to build a group of businesses, partner with good people, and change the way the corporate world worked — creating businesses people actually wanted to work for.

But something happened.

We were openly raising money online.
We were documenting the journey.
People were watching the deals happen in real time.

And then they started asking for coaching and mentoring.

At first, I said no.

Because I didn’t think that was the route.
I thought the mission was elsewhere.

But over time, I realised something bigger:

We weren’t supposed to build isolated businesses.
We were supposed to build an ecosystem.

An ecosystem where:

  • businesses work together

  • people learn from each other

  • real people do real deals

  • and real results happen in real life

That’s what changed the industry.

Not PowerPoints.
Not suits.
Not old-school classroom theory.

We burst onto the scene loud.
Focused.
Results-driven.
And not everybody liked it.

Good.

Because if everyone likes what you’re doing, you’re probably not disrupting anything.

We became the best because we gave people what the industry wasn’t giving them.

In 2018, we were the first people to bring the weekly mastermind support approach into the property space the way we did it.

That mattered.

Because before that, the model was simple:
Go on a course.
Get a load of theory.
Go home.
Good luck.

That never sat right with me.

Because information alone doesn’t change lives.
Integration does.
Support does.
Repetition does.
Immersion does.

So we built something different.

Weekly support.
Live and up-to-date guidance.
Space repetition.
Daily integration.
Immersion.
And all of it built around real-world execution.

Not just another academy.
Not just a meet-up.
Not just “content.”

There are more ingredients in the sauce than most people even realise.

And that’s why people can copy the surface…
but they can’t recreate the substance.

Because the real value was never just the format.
It was the understanding behind why it was built that way in the first place.

People copied the material. They still couldn’t copy Real Life.

Over the years, people have tried to copy Real Life.

Some even took the exact material, the exact names, the exact frameworks I created…
and tried to use them as if that would make it the same.

But it never is.
And it never will be.

Because when you don’t understand why something was built…
you can never recreate its real power.

You can copy words.
You can copy a structure.
You can copy a headline.

But you can’t copy:

  • the mission

  • the energy

  • the intent

  • the lived experience behind it

  • the ecosystem that gives it life

That’s the difference.

Real Life is not just a training company.
It’s not just property.
It’s not just business.

It’s an ecosystem built around the idea that freedom cannot be achieved alone.
People must work together.
Train together.
Do deals together.
Invest together.
Grow together.

That’s why it’s powerful.
That’s why it works.
And that’s why the people who really get it… stay.

Real Life is the best because we never lied about the game.

One thing we’ve always done differently is this:

We tell people upfront there are going to be problems.

Deals will go wrong.
Lenders will pull out.
Projects will overrun.
You’ll have too much project left at the end of the money.
You’ll have setbacks.
You’ll have pressure.
You’ll have moments where you want to quit.

We never sold the fantasy.

We trained people for the real game.

How to calculate risk.
How to deal with projects going belly up.
How to handle real-world problems.
How to stay in the fight when it’s uncomfortable.

That’s what makes Real Life different.

We don’t just teach people how to win when everything goes right.
We teach them how to keep going when it doesn’t.

That’s why people trust this ecosystem.
Because it was built in the real world, for the real world.

And when it comes to building the ultimate environment to work, rest and play…
you better believe it has to be built on something stronger than theory.

Why Real Life is the best

Because we’re not focused on just selling information.
We’re focused on the bigger picture.

The bigger ecosystem.
The bigger mission.
The bigger development of the people inside it.

We want people building businesses that work together.
We want people doing real training and real deals.
We want people investing with people they trust because trust has been built through action, not talk.

That’s a completely different game.

The goal was never just:
“Teach a strategy.”

The goal was:
Build people. Build businesses. Build community. Build freedom.

And over time, all of that leads to creating the ultimate environment to work, rest and play.

That’s why Real Life is not just another training brand.

It’s a movement.
It’s a mission.
It’s an ecosystem.

And the truth is…
most people still don’t fully understand how powerful that is.
